Integrations Google Drive

AI that answers from your Google Drive files.

Connect your Drive and your company's shared drives. Ekos read Docs, Sheets and Slides, and every answer points to the file and the page.

Free. Sign in with Google, Microsoft or an email link. The welcome page is in Italian, the Eko answers in English.

Example: a furniture company's knowledge base, with folders kept up to date from Google Drive, SharePoint and OneDrive, files, the website and an assembly video. The New button offers every place to add from: the computer, Google Drive, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Notion, Aircall, a website or a video. The Aria sofa's technical sheet is imported from Google Drive: the file uploads and the Ekos learn it.
What you can do

Four things that change from day one.

The right price list, first time

“What does the Velia armchair in Cuoio leather cost today?” The Eko answers from the price list and opens the page the price comes from.

A connected folder that updates itself

Connect “Technical manuals” once: when engineering adds a new spec sheet to Drive, it shows up in ekory too.

Sheets and Slides, not just PDFs

The Eko reads Google Docs, Sheets with every tab and Slides, as well as PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Never added it? The Eko finds it

Ask for a document you haven't brought into ekory yet: it finds it in your Drive, reads it and, if you want, adds it to your knowledge.

How it works

Three steps, without moving a file.

  1. 01

    Connect Google Drive

Everyone connects their own account for their own files. For shared drives, an admin connects a company Google account and picks which ones.

  2. 02

    Choose the folders

Whole folders or single files. Connected folders keep themselves up to date: new files come in, changed ones are read again.

  3. 03

    Ask your Ekos

Give the folders to the right Ekos and share them with your colleagues. Every answer cites the file and the page.

Permissions and security

Your Drive stays as it is.

ekory only reads. Who sees what is up to you, in ekory.

Read Security and data
  • Read-only: ekory never changes, moves or deletes anything in your Drive.
  • A personal connection sees only the files of the person who connected it.
  • For shared drives, an admin picks which ones to connect: only those are available to the members of your organization.
  • In ekory you decide who sees what, with roles, groups and sharing of folders and Ekos.
  • Your data is stored in Europe and your content never trains the AI.
Questions

Questions about Google Drive.

Do we have to move our files out of Google Drive?

No. Your files stay in your Drive: ekory reads them there and updates itself when they change.

Which files does it read?

Google Docs, Sheets (every tab) and Slides, PDFs, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, plus images, audio and video.

Are Google Drive permissions copied?

No, ekory doesn't copy Drive permissions. A personal connection sees only the files of the person who connected it; for shared drives, an admin picks which ones to bring into ekory. Then, inside ekory, you decide who sees what with roles, groups and sharing.

What happens when a file is deleted in Drive?

It leaves ekory too. Connected folders follow the source: new files come in, changed ones are read again, removed ones go.

Can Ekos write to our Drive?

No. They read files and, when you ask, bring one into ekory. They never change anything in Drive.

Can we connect more than one Google account?

Yes. Each person can connect several accounts, and the company can connect the shared drives of several accounts, for example of different companies in the group.
